CIIE serves as bridge to Chinese market for Silver Fern Farms: CEO

CIIE boosts future development of Fonterra, says Greater China CEO

Clare Erasmus , author of children’s books, brought her Kia Kaha book series to the “Wham Bam Author Jam: A Reader Event,” which was held in Central Christchurch on Oct. 26, attended by 23 authors and three vendors from both New Zealand and Australia. The authors’ books cover varying genres including children’s books to romance, thriller, and paranormal. This was the second time the annual event was held.

According to the organiser, the majority of them are indie authors (independently published), so they are publishing their own books and many are doing all the marketing themselves.

“But the main similarity is that they all have a love of the written word, and a need to share their stories with the world,” the organiser said.

The event chooses a different charity to donate to each year. Last year it was Mental Health, and this year it was CanInspire.
